During the end montage Nico and Levi share an intimate moment and talk about their future. Meredith Grey’s voiceover begins shortly after Aron Wright’s emotional and falsetto vocals come in. Wright sings “let me make it easy on you” as Grey talks about the struggle of overcoming “an inescapable truth–everything ends.” The song continues as Amelia sends a difficult text to Link and Jo arrives home alone to her and Alex’s dark apartment.

“I wrote ‘Make It Easy On You’ with my friend Amy Wadge,” Wright told Tunefind. “She and I are both huge fans of Grey’s Anatomy and love that they have used two of the three songs we’ve written together. Thank you to everyone searching for our song on Tunefind and thank you to Tunefind for having a place to search!”

The other song Wright referenced is ‘Heartbeats,’ which appeared in season 14 of Grey’s Anatomy.
