Top TV Song Last Week: Walk With Me by GoldFord

Perennial favorite medical-drama Grey’s Anatomy returned for the 17th season with a two part premiere. It’s no surprise that the music sync powerhouse has landed Tunefind’s most popular TV song last week with a sincere and soulful song from LA-based singer/songwriter GoldFord.

Montage of the surgeries for the two fire victims.

During full pandemic protocols, Grey Sloan is closed to emergent cases. However, an incident involving teenagers and an accidental fire sends two critical cases to the hospital. ‘Walk With Me’ is heard during a montage of surgeries for these two patients.

‘Walk With Me’ is GoldFord’s latest R&B/Soul single that was released in May 2020. Musician GoldFord–Jeffrey Goldford–shared a lyric video on his official website and released an acoustic version of the track in September.

‘Walk With Me’ explores the recent racial division and “pandemic-fueled isolation.” The song has had over 500,000 listens and is one of the top five most Shazammed songs for six consecutive weeks.

GoldFord started his music career with the single ‘Upside Down’ reaching more than 30 million streams on Pandora within a single year. He’s collaborated with AG (who produced this track), Aloe Blacc, X Ambassadors, Andy Grammer and many others. GoldFord has had placements on Power, The Leftovers, other popular shows and television advertisements.

GoldFord released his first album Shed a Little Light in 2013 and has released eight singles and EPs since 2015. GoldFord is expected to release his newest album Dreams of Summertime this fall.
