ABC medical drama The Good Doctor is no stranger to popular music, having claimed the top spot on our Trending Music Chart many times. Last week’s episode closes out with an atmospheric track that has been reprised by ODESZA featuring Sasha Sloan.

‘Falls (Reprise)’ softly begins during the end montage. Claire talks with Cort about where he’s at now that his lies have been exposed. Olivia tells her Uncle Marcus what she really wants. The song builds as Olivia and Marcus hug. Lim and Claire come to terms with their friendship and where it stands. Lea and Glassman hang out, playing poker as the song ends just before the credits roll.

‘Falls (Reprise)’ was released on ODESZA’s 2017 album A Moment Apart (Deluxe Edition). The Deluxe Edition includes nine reprises and remixes of songs from the original album release. ‘Falls (Reprise)’ is a more mellow version than the original, featuring softer drums and less synth.

ODESZA is a Grammy-nominated duo made up of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight. They joined together to create ODESZA while they were seniors at Western Washington University.

They released Summer’s Gone, their first album, in 2012, followed by In Return (2014). ODESZA has had numerous hit singles and become known for their lofty soundscape as well as their live shows.

Sasha Sloan is the professional name for Russian-American singer/songwriter Alexandra Artourovna Yatchenko. She studied at Berklee College of Music in her hometown of Boston before relocating to Los Angeles.

Sasha Sloan has co-written chart-topping songs for DJ Steve Aoki, Christian hip-hop artist Lecrae, Camila Cabello and many other well-known artists. Her solo career has highlighted her alt-pop soundscapes and introspective lyrics. In 2020, Sasha Sloan released her debut album after numerous singles and EPs. The full-length album, Only Child, is a blend of indie folk and pop.

ODESZA was recently highlighted for their top song on Tunefind, ‘A Moment Apart’ featured in Fate: The Winx Saga. The duo has also had song placements in Grey’s Anatomy, The Handmaid’s Tale, and After. Sasha Sloan has had songs featured in The Bold Type, Euphoria, and To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.
