Before heading off to college, best friends Elle and Lee promise to have the most perfect last summer together. Their “rules of friendship” would imply that this is a summer just like any other. The summer begins at the Flynn family beach house, full of old memories and summertime pop music. And while there’s always a party to lighten things up, Elle is weighed down by trying to have an unforgettable summer and plan for her future. She feels the strain on her relationships as she is once again pulled in opposite directions by her best friend, Lee and her boyfriend/Lee’s brother, Noah. Elle becomes so wrapped up in what everyone else wants that she’s forgotten to ask herself what she wants.

The Kissing Booth 3 introduces the ultimate dilemma for Elle as she must choose between her best friend, her boyfriend, and herself. Elle’s difficult decisions about her future are underscored by heartbreaking and nostalgic song placements and [currently unreleased] emotional score by composer Patrick Kirst.

As the days of summer fly by, a highlight of The Kissing Booth 3 is Elle and Lee’s Beach Bucket List, especially item #11: Flash Mob. With a nob to the band heard during the Dance Dance Mania competition in The Kissing Booth 2, the flash mob performance features Walk the Moon’s hit song ‘Shut Up and Dance’, also heard in TKB3 official trailer.
