‘Stronger (Grey’s Anatomy Version)’ was released as a single on October 6, 2022, and garnered almost 20,000 streams in just under 5 days. Thunderstorm took to Facebook Reels on October 6th to share with fans that his freshly released single was due to make its nominal appearance on the Grey’s Anatomy season premiere later that night. Artis shares his excitement with his fans in an endearing announcement while explaining that this special placement also serves as his first sync placement.
Artis was born and raised in a large musical family on the North Shore of Oahu and cites his inspiration from the laid-back vibe of island life, effortlessly blended with real life experiences. Thunderstorm grew up in a full house with 10 siblings and music in his genes. The singer/songwriter was inspired by his father, Ron Artis, a Motown musician best known for playing the keyboards on Michael Jackson’s 1982 hit ‘Thriller.’ Artis was a finalist on the 2020 spring season of The Voice and ended up coming in third place.
