Top TV Song Last Week: Enjoy by Tekno
For the third week in a row, Apple TV+’s original series Ted Lasso features the most popular song on Tunefind last week. Last week’s episode, “The Strings That Bind Us,” clinched the top spot on the chart with a high-tempo, afrobeats track from the self-declared King of Afropop.

‘Enjoy’ is heard in the episode’s final scene, as Sam’s shaken faith in humanity is restored. The team bands together to repair Sam’s restaurant named Ola’s. They all enjoy a meal together, prepared by Sam’s dad, Ola himself, the song continues as the end credits roll.
Tekno Miles was born in Bauchi State on December 17, 1992, and comes from Ivo LGA, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. He grew up traveling and living in various Northern Nigerian states like Kaduna and Nasarawa due to his father’s occupation in the Nigerian Army. He attended Heritage School in Kaduna for his secondary education and started his musical journey at an early age as a choir member. Miles enrolled in a music school at age 8 where he learned to play instruments like the piano and guitar. In 2013, Tekno released his debut single, ‘ Holiday,’ marking his entry into the Nigerian music scene.
In 2019 Tekno was one of several incredibly talented African artists tapped to collaborate on Beyoncé’s album for Lion King: The Gift. He was featured on one of the album’s most popular tracks, ‘Don’t Jealous Me.’
‘Enjoy’ was released on Tekno’s debut album, titled Old Romance, and currently boasts over 6 million streams on Spotify. The album combines elements from R&B, and Afropop with Neo-soul percussive rhythms. In an album review for Pulse Nigeria, Motolani Alake is quoted saying, “As a producer and multi-instrumentalist, Tekno has an uncanny understanding of music and sounds.”
Tekno currently has 5 songs with over 5 appearances on Tunefind, including, but not limited to, 2020’s Black Is King and 2021’s Coming 2 America.
