Check out the fan favorite and most popular songs from YOU season 4.
Fans have come to expect drama, plot twists, and plenty of monologues from YOU, but they also expect great music. Since season 1 aired in 2018, the series has been filled with storytelling tracks and atmosphere-setting songs. YOU’s soundscape is eclectic and refined and would surely impress Joe Goldberg himself.
There have been covers of quintessential classics and a mixed bag of radio bops and indie anthems throughout the seasons. Radiohead has been featured and covered on the soundtrack, and Taylor Swift has been featured in seasons 2 and 4. Most indicative of You’s soundscape is casually cool artists such as The National, Glass Animals, Billie Eilish, and Andrew Belle.
Effortlessly blended into the mix of songs is the original series score by Blake Neely. The season 1 and season 2 score albums have been released by WaterTower Records. Composer Rob Simonsen has had a song featured in seasons 1, 2, and 4 that is a score track from the movie Nerve. ‘Night Drive’ by Simonsen has been one of the most popular songs from each season it was featured in.
Netflix’s split season methods have been seen frequently as the streaming giant has divided seasons into two parts, with series such as Stranger Things, Ozark, and now YOU being released in parts. Fans wasted no time digging into the music featured in season 4, part 1, and Tunefind is bringing you the fan favorites just in time for the release of season 4, part 2, on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
